If your child is very unwell

Do not wait for a clinic appointment. Go to the nearest hospital emergency department if your child has difficulty breathing, is unusually drowsy or hard to wake, has a seizure, has severe pain, is not drinking or passing urine, or has a high fever with a new rash, especially while on medicines that lower immunity.
